Guide for performing an ANOVA on the TI-83
1. Put the data for the activity into lists, one for each of the samples being tested (L1, L2, etc.).
2. Press the 
button and the
statistical menu will appear. Press 
and confirm that TESTS is highlighted on the top row. Scroll
down using the 
key until you reach choice F: ANOVA.
Press the 
button.
3. Enter the lists containing the data for the regression with the
keys 
, comma, 
, comma, and 
. Finally, close the parenthesis
and press .
4. The screen will display the results of the ANOVA. If there is a significant difference between the two populations, the magnitude of the p value (line 3) will be less than or equal to the alpha level selected (0.05, 0.001, etc)
