| Pie Graph of Alcohol Related Deaths in Automobile Accidents |
In this activity, you
will be generating
a pie graph of alcohol related deaths by
age group.
The data set includes the number of deaths by age of
people killed in alcohol related automobile crashes in 
1999. Alcohol is the number one cause of all automobile
accidents in the
U.S. It is also the
number one cause of death for people between the age of 16- 24. In
1997, 21 percent of the teen drivers involved in fatal crashes
were
under
the influence of alcohol (MADD,
1999).
Using Excel
find the total number of deaths and generate a
pie graph of the data.
The data exists in Excel Data format and Text format only.
Which age group has the highest percentage of alcohol related deaths? Which age group has the second highest percentage? Which age group constitutes the lowest percentage? Are there any trends in the data?
